About Song Tailor
Song Tailor exists because the most meaningful moments in a person’s life — the seventieth birthday, the first dance, the goodbye that should not feel theatrical — were being met with cards, candles, and gift cards. We built a studio and a system to give people something closer to the size of the moment.
Why we started
In late 2021, our founder spent two months trying to find a gift for his father’s seventieth birthday. He visited boutiques, commissioned a portrait, recorded an interview, and still arrived at the day with nothing that held the whole man — the way he made tea, the things he never said, the marigolds by the steps. The gift industry had answers for occasions. It had no answer for people.
Song Tailor began as a private experiment to fix that, built with a Grammy-shortlisted producer and a small group of operators, engineers, and researchers who had spent their careers making strangers feel known — at consumer technology companies, at luxury hospitality brands, at a frontier AI lab, and at the wedding planners’ tables where stakes are highest. The first songs were for friends. Then the friends started forwarding the link.
What changed A song stopped being a download and started being something a family kept on the wall, played at the funeral, danced to at the wedding.
The team
Song Tailor is built by people who have spent careers at the intersection of music, consumer technology, and luxury hospitality — and who came together because no single discipline could solve emotional gifting on its own.

Operating principles
A song stops sounding generic the moment it names something only the two of you would recognize. Our brief is engineered to surface those details, not hide behind taste.
Every Premium and Event order is reviewed by a producer before it leaves the studio. Pronunciation, tone, sensitive references — checked by a person, not a model.
Reveal pages live at unguessable links. Stories, names, and reactions are never published, never trained on, never sold. The story is yours; we only host the song.
Premium includes a guided revision. Event Grade revises until the day of the event. The bar is not whether the song is good — it is whether the gift lands.
By the numbers
The story so far
Song Tailor begins as a private project — one founder, one engineer, one producer — making songs for friends going through milestone years.
We hire our Head of Music and formalize the human review pass. Premium Keepsake is born after a wedding revision that had to land in 36 hours — and did.
Wedding planners and HR leaders begin requesting deadline-bound work. Event Grade ships with revisions until the event date and a dedicated producer per file.
We rebuild the gift around the moment, not the file. Private reveal pages, lyric sheets, and shareable keepsakes become standard on every order.
Why we keep going
If you have a person worth a song — a parent, a partner, a friend, a team that did something extraordinary — start the brief. We will turn it into something they can open, play, and keep.
