What we collect
When you order a song, we collect: your name and email, the recipient's name and pronunciation, the story details you share, your sound preferences, your deadline, and the order itself. We do not collect or store payment card details — those go directly to our payment processor.
How we use it
- To produce and deliver the song you ordered.
- To run quality review for name pronunciation, lyric clarity, and tone fit.
- To email you the reveal page link and any production updates.
- To respond to support requests and process revisions.
Privacy by default
Your story, the recipient's name, the lyrics, and the finished song are private. We do not publish them or use them in marketing without your explicit opt-in.
Who we share data with
- Payment processor (Dodo Payments) — to take payment and issue refunds.
- Email and hosting providers — to deliver order emails and serve the website.
- AI production tools — story details are passed to AI models to generate drafts.
Your rights
You can ask us to send you a copy of the data we hold, correct anything inaccurate, or delete your account after the warranty window. Email hi@songtailor.co from the address you used to order.
Retention
Order records are kept for at least 12 months so we can support revisions and resend lost links. After that you can request deletion.
