Growth & Outreach Intern

Song Tailor is a bootstrapped, profitable US-based custom song service (songtailor.co). Hundreds of songs delivered across 15+ countries, competing with companies charging 3–5x our price. We're a team of one looking for our first hire — someone who can grow with us.

We value results, not resumes

We do not care about your degree, your previous jobs, or how many years of experience you have.

We care about one thing: can you get results? This role is built around performance. Your fixed stipend is your base — your commission is uncapped. Prove you can sell, and you'll earn more than any degree could get you.

About you

Compensation & terms

ComponentAmount
Fixed monthly stipend₹10,000
Commission per sale₹500 (flat, uncapped)

Example: 10 sales = ₹5,000 commission + ₹10,000 stipend = ₹15,000/month. 20 sales = ₹20,000/month. No cap. Annual range: ₹1.2L – ₹3.0L+.

Probation: The first 2 weeks are an unpaid training and evaluation period. If you show results and we decide to continue, the full ₹10,000 fixed stipend applies from month 1 onward (not just from week 3). If it's not working, we part ways with no hard feelings and no pay for those 2 weeks.

What growth looks like

This isn't a coffee-fetching internship. You'll own real work from day one — and your income grows with your results.

  • Month 1: Learn the ropes, build your outreach process, target 5–10 sales.
  • Month 2–3: Find your stride at 10–20 sales/month, earning ₹15k–₹20k/month.
  • Beyond: If you're consistently hitting 20+ sales, we talk about a full-time role with a higher base.

Screening questions

📢 IMPORTANT: You may use AI to help write your answers — we score the final quality, not the process. If you do use it, add a one-sentence note at the bottom saying what you used it for. Honesty scores extra points. Pretending you didn't use it is an instant rejection.
How you'll be scored:
0 — Vague, generic, or dishonest about AI use; didn't visit the site; ignored the honesty clause
1 — Passable but didn't stand out
2 — Specific, human, shows real marketing instinct

Question 1

Go to songtailor.co. Find the pricing page. What does the cheapest option cost? Now rewrite the description of that tier as a text you'd send a friend who's looking for a last-minute birthday gift. Don't describe what you'd say — write the actual text message.

Question 2

Tell us about one gift you gave that actually made someone emotional. What was it? Who was it for? Why did it work? Be specific — one moment, one reaction.

Question 3

Your goal is to get one paying customer per week — with no budget for ads or paid tools. Find 3 real posts — on Reddit, Facebook groups, or forums — where someone is actually asking for a gift idea. For each one, write the exact reply you'd post as a helpful stranger. No pitching — but make them curious enough to click. Include the link or thread title with each reply.
