Reviews and terms
Is SongOven legit? What its own site says about who runs it
SongOven is an operating service: SONGOVEN LTD. runs songoven.com under New York law, and its order flow and checkout were live on 4 November 2026. These are the terms worth reading before you pay.
Who runs it
Its terms name SONGOVEN LTD. and send disputes to binding AAA arbitration in New York, with class actions waived. Its site gives no postal address, founders or location; the contact is a support email, an AI chat assistant and a ticket form.
What you own
Songs are licensed for personal, non-commercial use, and SongOven and its artists keep all rights; Song Tailor's licence is also personal and non-commercial. SongOven's terms cap its liability at $10.
Terms that don't match the product
Its terms still describe 24-hour standard delivery, delivery dates 4 to 8 days out and a “one-hour express” rush fee. Its homepage and checkout sell one product: two versions within 1 hour. Read the current terms before you order.
From songoven.com/terms-of-use, /about-us and /support, checked 4 November 2026. We answer reviews with a service's own terms, not star ratings. Sources. How it measures up: our six checks for choosing a custom song service.
How it's made
Is SongOven AI?
Yes, by its own FAQ: “our AI generates lyrics and music”, and its lyrics screen says “Our AI is writing personalized lyrics just for you” (4 November 2026).
Its About page tells a different story, of songwriters, singers and recording artists whose work is checked by “music supervisors”. In its order flow you fill in five steps, get AI-written lyrics in seconds, then pay before the music is made. Song Tailor uses AI tools for the lyrics, music and vocals from your story; you approve the lyric before the song is made, and on Premium Keepsake and Event Grade a human producer reviews the song for tone, names and clarity right after delivery. AI song generator vs custom song.
